Branch AGM 2019

Cheshire Branch's AGM was held at  7pm on May 9th, at Willington Hall in Willington, Tarporley, and members also listened to a fascinating talk by Emeritus Professor of Landscape Ecology, Andrew Hull, Chairman of the Sandstone Ridge Trust.

The Trust aims to improve and enhance the natural beauty and special qualities of the Cheshire Sandstone Ridge for all those who live in, work on, or visit the area, by conserving the special qualities of the Ridge, celebrating and improving understanding of the area's archaeological, historical and cultural inheritance, increasing public enjoyment through interpretation and improved access and developing rural skills and providing training, volunteering and educational opportunities in the natural and historic environment.

Following the talk, members stayed for a delicious finger buffet.
